When should I send you my manuscript?
You’ll receive the most benefit from my evaluation if your manuscript has gone through previous critiques at a writing workshop or your writer’s group. You should be at a point where your non-publisher critiquers don’t really know what to tell you anymore. If you’re not already a member of SCBWI (The Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators), I highly recommend you investigate your local chapter.
When will I hear back from you?
As you may have guessed, my response time depends on my workload. I’ll notify you when I receive your manuscript. I ask for one calendar month from the date I receive your first payment before a gentle reminder is warranted. If you have a rush project and a specific deadline, please contact me with further details and I’ll see what I can do to accommodate you.
